Nick Palmisano | President & Instructor
Nick Palmisano has been in the fire service since 2010. He has dedicated his career working for the Lighthouse Point Fire Rescue department. Amongst other things, Nick is the Local 3080 District President for his department and also sits on the board of trustees for the Lighthouse Point Police & Fire Pension Board.
Nick graduated from Stetson University in 2006. He received a Bachelors of Business Administration with a major in accounting and minor in electronic business technology. His fire certifications include Pump Operator, Fire Officer I & II, Instructor III, Fire Inspector I, Health & Safety Officer, Incident Safety Officer, & Safety Officer. Nick is also an EMT-Paramedic, Registered Nurse, and AHA instructor.
In 2014 Nick was promoted from Firefighter to Driver Engineer, and in 2021 was promoted to Fire Rescue Captain. Nick was awarded FF of the Year in 2013, 2019 & 2023.
